While investigating we found out 2 things:

1. A lot of what Derren does is just magic tricks, not all of it, but a lot.

2. Derren Brown also uses something known as NLP, specifically he uses the “covert hypnosis” Side of it. We decided this covert hypnosis stuff sounded kind of fishy. While researching it we found many products online all claiming to be the best.

The problem was this Derren Brown mind control stuff all seemed to be kind of expensive. After research and talking to other claimed “covert hypnotists” we settled on a course. Then we went out and did our tests. First test: Wallet Scam The test involved walking up to strangers, talking to them, and then hypnotizing them out of their wallets (which was later returned) Test success rate: We averaged around 7/10 to 6/10 success rate, with people we already knew we averaged a 9/10 success rate. Second test: forgetting memories In this test we would find a subject who we did not know, we would either strike up a conversation or enter into an existing one.

Then using this Derren Brown Mind Control technique we made hypnotized them to forget what they were talking about. Success rate: 9/10 Third test Pick up test We quickly realized that this information could be useful for picking up people of the opposite gender. We went out to many different areas and tried getting girls phone numbers. Success rate : we had 9/10 success rate, this however does include one woman who was already married. So far none of us have been outright turned down. Overall consensus: not Scam.
